Foothills Elementary PTA

Do you know what Foothills PTA actually does?  Below are some examples:


  • Make and serve popcorn to all students once a month for free! 
  • Run the Scholastic Book Fair twice a year and grant book credit to Foothills Library.
  • Run monthly free family Movie Nights where families can bring in their own food and enjoy a nice movie together.
  • Run Fall Festival for free to all families
  • Run a themed dance for free each year.
  • Provide free art supplies at Free Family Art Night where families can do art projects together.
  • Manage Skate Nights several times a year.
  • Have adopted 234th Ave in the "Adopt-a-Road" program with the Washington State Dept of Transportation and do cleanup twice a year on the road, while kids cleanup school grounds.
  • Provide and stuff first day folders for all students.





  • Provide grants to the Health, PE, Music departments and the Library
  • Provide emergency meals for kids that have no lunch
  • Support Battle of the books, Family Reading Night, Falcon Buck prizes, snacks for testing time, White River High School Scholarship fund, WRSD Clothing Bank
  • Do BooHoo breakfast for Kindergarten parents after they drop off their little ones on first day they attend school.
  • Run annual Food Drive and partner with Buckley Food Bank
  • Run Ice Cream Social on the day all families get to come to the school to meet their teachers prior to school starting.
  • Manage the school pictures and yearbook.
  • Provide a grant to each teacher to assist them in classroom costs.
  • Run the Student Store.
